Where your money goes

Music4Children is managed by volunteers, and 100% of publicly donated funds go towards the projects listed below. We do our best to minimise administration costs, and use some of the Gift Aid we receive to cover these.

Free Creative Workshops for Children and Young People (Streatham, London)

When Music4Children moved into the White Lion in Streatham, the venue included a derelict stable that was rendered unusable. After months of hard work from our local volunteers, and generous donations of materials, this has been transformed into a space where we run free creative workshops for children and young people, as well as other community activities.

Music4Children currently runs a range of workshops aimed at 5-19 year olds, including DJ & Music Technology, Street Dance, Drama, Film & Media, Art & Jewellery Making, Live Performance. Recent development of the space has enabled us to create Streatham Stables, an independent community venue with the potential to offer a greater range of activities. For full details of these, see our Workshops page here.

Earthship Art Centre (Loughborough Park, London)

Concrete Jungle Build Image

This project partnering Concrete Jungle Earthships was going to benefit the children and young people supported by Kids Company. The recent closure of this charity means the project is now unlikely to happen.

If you donated to this project and would like a refund, please email gavin@music4children.org. Any unclaimed donations will be used by Concrete Jungle Earthships for an appropriate educational activity.

Concrete Jungle Earthships is an organisation striving towards the growth of a conscious community that is concerned with its own sustainability and future. They want to promote reducing, re-using and recycling waste because a clean, healthy world is key to a happy life.
