Streatham Drop In Centre works in partnership with a wide range of voluntary, community, and statutory groups to provide specialised support, information, and advice, as well as a wide range of health and wellbeing services to asylum seekers, migrants, and refugee communities.

Music4Children has been supporting the children and young people who attend the centre since 2013 when we donated some computers for the office and then provided entertainment for that year’s Christmas party.

Over the years, we have continued to support the Christmas parties, as well as introducing additional activities at other times of the year. These have featured a range of disciplines, such as Arts and Crafts, Kite Making, Music Creation, Drama and Sport-based activities, and classes aimed at helping with their homework club.

In 2023, we were awarded £10,000 by the National Lottery Community Fund to further expand our contributions to the centre during that year. We hope to generate enough support to continue working with these and other disadvantaged young people for many years to come.
